KAKATAR is expanding its frontiers in the construction industry in Nigeria with international partnership with major conglomerates in the world. It has entered a partnership agreement with Voith Group, a Germany-based engineering giant, to work together in construction and engineering sector, in particular, in hydropower energy construction and installations.
This was the outcome of the meeting of the Top executives of the two groups in Abuja, where a partnership agreement was signed for their cooperation in hydropower engineering in Nigeria.
“This is a relationship that will work for the good and better development of Nigeria and for both companies, as we pool resources, skill together for the infrastructural development of Nigeria.” Mr. Azibaola Robert, the Chairman/CEO of Kakatar Group, said.
In the same vain, Mr. Mark Claessen, the Regional Marketing Director, Voith Group, the Group’s representative in Austria, said: “I am impressed by the professionalim and ways of working of Kakatar; and I am looking forward to our working together.”

Earlier, Mr. Robert and Kakatar Group’s Executive Director of Projects, Mr. Dakoru Atukpa, took Claessen and other members of the business delegation, Mobolaji Durodola, the CEO of Quaint Global Energy, and Victor Inatimi, of CSI Energy Group, to a tour of Kakatar facilities and its sister company, Zeetin Engineering Limited in Idu Industrial Complex, Abuja.
Established in 2002, Kakatar, a registered Nigerian construction and engineering company, is foremost construction company in Nigeria with sizeable projects in public facilities, like roads, bridges, districts infrastructures, irrigation services and more, for the Federal Government of Nigeria and international organisations.
Voith, founded since 1867, is a global technology company, with headquarters in Germany. With its broad portfolio of systems, products, services and digital applications, Voith sets standards in the markets of energy, oil and gas, paper, raw materials and transport & automotive.
